Ingredients

3/4 teaspoon unsweetened matcha powder
9 fluid ounces warm water
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons water
2 English cucumber ribbons (see step 3)
3 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

Whisk matcha powder into warm water until dissolved. Chill.
Make a simple syrup by combining sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoons water in a pot. Bring mixture to a simmer and stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill mixture.
To make cucumber ribbons, cut cucumber in half width wise. Use a mandolin or vegetable peeler slice ribbons lengthwise.
Combine matcha tea mixture, simple syrup, and lemon juice and pour over ice. Garnish with cucumber slices.
